This is a simple book of only 19 pages of real information. It does not deal with any complexities. Instead, it is an introduction to trackwork for model railroads for the very beginner. For that market, it is a valuable resource.
The book is independent of scale. While most examples are HO or N, the principles apply from Z to G. I even learned some new things about O scale.
The tips are well thought out and important to anyone wanting to have fun and not worry about track problems. This makes sense for the beginner and might even be useful for the advanced beginner who has forgotten basics. A half hour spent reading this book before money is spent on a set might save a lot of money and frustration later.
